Using personality profiling in coaching

Personality profiling is very useful when designing or undertaking a training programme that is linked to either soft or hard skill development.

We offer our own development programmes but offer our profiling services to other training organisations to help them understand their candidates as well – get in touch if you’ like any more information.

Making Coaching Work

Case Study - RoS Recruitment

We have used profiling on a number of occasions to support Executive and Management coaching programmes.  By understanding a persons preferred way of behaving we were able to spot how a person is, versus how they would like to behave.

  • Step one – ‘why are we here?’ we help you identify the core goals of the coaching programme in outline
  • Step two – ‘where are we now’ we lead you through the profiling process and give feedback on how you see your own behaviour, the good bits and not so good bits
  • Step three – ‘where do you want to be’ we discuss with you how your preferred behaviour can support of hamper the achievement of your core goals
  • Step four – ‘how do we work together’ we agree a coaching programme that will meet your goals and address any areas of your behaviour that may need developing

Through this process we are able to get under your skin and help you understand why you do the things you do, and spot where the coaching can really help you, making the coaching process more focused and productive.
