Working with our business partner EMIC Training, we designed and delivered a series of highly successful development centres to support a significant change programme - helping the business to realign its team to its new commercial strategy. The development centres were designed to help identify the training needs of a group of Change Champions, over 40 managers and the Executive Team.

BBK Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (Bahrain)

Working with our Middle East partner EMIC we were asked to design and deliver a structured assessment centre to support the recruitment of their annual graduate intake. Working with the managers of the business and the existing HR Team we designed and delivered a unique annual event for three years that saw over 300 candidates assessed against a range of tools that had been mapped to meet the customers competency framework. Each annual assessment took place in one day and saw candidates undertake a range of different assessed activities designed to measure each candidates analytical, interpersonal, presentation, communication and planning skills. Many of the assessments were bespoke to the business and reflected their working practices and the required internal behaviours.

Greencore Group

Greencore Group is an international producer of convenience foods. Working with their Hull site we designed a series of bespoke training courses to support the Supervisory Team in the business. This included writing and delivering a number of bespoke half day workshops that reflected the working reality of the site in Hull. The courses included educating the Supervisors on the changes in the Equality Act 2010, undertaking MBTI profiling and giving feedback for the Supervisory function and delivering a series of programmes on effectively managing projects.

Edwards and Pearce Recruitment

We have worked with Edwards and Pearce for the past 5 years and have provided a range of services to themselves and their customers. Internally this has included undertaking personality profiling for all of their Consultants and providing 1-2-1 feedback to identify development goals to improve their performance, coaching senior members of the team and providing them with profiling support for new hires. For their customers this has included administering and providing written feedback on candidates that are being presented to customers to allow them to make a more informed choice. This is normally delivered by way of a written report that is tailored to the job specification or customers competency framework.

Discover Leisure PLC

We have worked with Discover Leisure for the past 5 years and have provided a range of HR related services to the organisation and their regional branches including Employment Law advice, Organisation Design, Personality Profiling for the senior team, designing and running a unique Development Centre and Developing Training Courses in Customer Services.

UK Atomic Energy Agency

UKAEA is a world leading fusion research facility based near Oxford. Each year they recruit a number of fresh graduates onto their Graduate Development Programme. For the past 4 years Willerby Hill has delivered personality profiling assessments for the new graduates, given each 1-2-1 feedback of their preferred behaviour and identified potential development goals. This has been completed by mapping the OPQ32 questionnaire to the organisations own competency framework so that all feedback is meaningful to the graduate and links in to their existing review structure.

Student Pad

This organisation specialises in the provision of e-services to Universities and other public sector organisations. We have provided support to the business by supporting the MD to develop a more productive organisational structure, advising on employment law matters and assisting with the accurate selection of a senior Manager.

Butterflies Pre School & Day Nursery

Supported the organisation for the past two years with a range of services including developing a comprehensive appraisal system to allow the manager to accurately identify team development needs, undertook a team building exercise with all the team to help them understand each other better and create a positive working environment. Most recently we have helped the business to develop a comprehensive Training Manual to support the quality assurance process in the Nursery as well as allow new starters to be inducted in a structured way.

Hull City Build

Provided Hull City Build with contracted HR Support for 6 months to cover the absence of the HR Manager and undertook a full review of the team through personality profiling, to establish development objectives for all members of the organisation ahead of their annual appraisal and enable the new Chief Executive to gain an insight in to the team.

RoS Recruitment

We have worked with RoS Recruitment, an International Recruitment Agency for the past 4 years providing coaching support to their team and supporting recruitment activities with personality profiling. Though we initially started by profiling candidates for their clients, we were asked to work with their Team of consultants to identify areas of development with a view to enhancing their sales performance.

Gulf Investment Bank – Bahrain

Working in partnership with our Middle East partners EMIC, Willerby Hill were asked to design and deliver a bespoke development centre for the management team of the Gulf Investment Bank. The objective was to analyse the leadership potential of the 120 delegates to identify group and individual development needs ahead of a planned leadership training programme.
